EU: Commission develops proposal for a postponement of the MDR

In a press conference and an announcement, the EU has announced that it is working on a proposal to postpone the date of application of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) by a year.

The proposal is intended to be presented to the Parliament and Council for approval at the start of April. The announcements do not contain any more detailed information about the scope or precise content of the proposal.
